Mohamed M.Ghanem is currently Dean at faculty of veterinary medicine Benha university. He had done his Ph.D. in Genetics and Developmental Biology West Virginia University-USA. He is the Founder of the new program “Excellence of Pet Animal Medicine and Surgery” for undergraduate students as special education program at FVTM, Benha University. He published more than 60 publications in different international journals. He is the First partner in the International agreement between Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Benha University and Anses laboratory, France in light of the joint project “diagnosis of Q fever in Egypt. He attended various confernces and professional meetings and he is a member of different professional societies and associations.
- His research area is now concentrating on the different mechanisms affecting regulation of CYP1A1 induction on the protein and gene level.
- Researches are underway to speculate the effect of lipopolysaccahride (LPS) as an inflammatory stimulators on the CYP1A1 induction in animal models
