Dr. Scott A. Johnson, MA, LP, has a Master’s Degree in Counseling & Psychological Services from St. Mary’s College. He is a Licensed Psychologist (Minnesota) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychological Specialties in Forensic Psychology. He has over 28 years - experience addressing sexual predators as a forensic psychologist, author, educator, and police trainer. He was involved in the civil commitment of sexual predators for the state of Minnesota for several years.
Mr. Johnson has forensically assessed over a thousand sexual predators and assisted with profiling of sexual predators and psychopaths. He also trains and consults with law enforcement nationwide addressing physically violent and sexual predators. He provides consultation nationwide with law enforcement on current and cold sex predator cases.
He currently an adjunct professor at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). He is the author of several book chapters, booklets, research, journal articles and other professional materials.
