Biography:

Dr. Sefa Bulut is an Associate Professor and Head of Counseling Psychology and Guidance Program, Ibn Haldun University, Istanbul. He Completed PhD in School of Applied Health and Educational Psychology (SAHEP). Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, USA. Graduate Certificate of Gerontology, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, USA and MS in Applied Behavioral Studies (ABSED) Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, USA. He works as Visiting Professor, at Lindenwood University, Associate Professor, in Counseling Psychology Department and Head of Counseling Psychology Department. He published more than 30 papers in scientific journals and also Book chapters. He got awards from The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), Overseas Conference Travel Grant, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and Listed in Marquis Who's Who Biographies since 2006 and Mualla Öztürk Child Psychiatry Award 2005 by Turkish Psychiatry Association and more, He serves as Editorial Board member and reviewer for several publishing scientific journals.

Research interest:

Dr. Sefa Bulut is interested in the fields of Children and Post-traumatic stress disorder, post-traumatic growth, sexual abuse, ADHD, school violence, bullying and mobbing, cooperative learning and cross-cultural psychology, ageing, and gerontology.
